Jess is currently engaged in research as a Part II student from Somerville College, with a focus on enhancing inversion models that calculate pair potentials from radial distribution functions through the test particle inversion method. His work primarily involves the application of Python programming to refine and optimize these complex computational models.
Outside of work, Jess is an avid tennis player. Additionally, Jess has a keen interest in video game design and is actively learning the ropes of game creation using the Unity software platform and the systematic and analytical skills he gained from computational research.
